About
“Know thyself” Socrates
I am a Philosophical Coach helping clients to explore life’s big questions, gain clarity on personal values, and make thoughtful decisions. I use philosophical concepts to tackle challenges related to limiting beliefs, relationships, and personal growth.
My approach is shaped by a wide range of philosophical voices – spanning from the insights of ancient philosophers like Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle to the challenging questions posed by Kant, Hegel, Heidegger, and Foucault. Whether it’s the grounded wisdom of stoicism, existentialism, or the structure of ethical and logical reasoning, I use these ideas to help clients rethink their lives, uncover blind spots, and move forward with greater awareness and direction.

“The soul takes nothing with her to the next world but her education and her culture.” Plato
Background
My background began with a degree in Letters at the University of São Paulo – where I studied literature, language, and the power of words. That early foundation shaped how I listen, think, and understand human experience.
Later, I trained in counselling and psychotherapy, where I first developed a deep interest in the complexity of the human mind. It was through that work that I discovered psychoanalysis and fell in love with its depth and its unique way of listening to human suffering.
Within psychoanalysis, I encountered the work of Jacques Lacan – a turning point in my journey. Through studying Lacan, another door opened: the world of philosophy. It was through him, I saw how philosophy and psychoanalysis could speak to each other in meaningful ways.
That encounter changed my direction. What began as a clinical path became a philosophical one. I started asking not only what someone feels, but what their suffering means, what their life says about them, and what kind of truth they are living.
Wanting to explore this even further, I went on to study neuropsychoanalysis and evolutionary psychology – fields that connect the inner world of subjectivity with the body, the brain, and our evolutionary roots. These disciplines added new layers to my understading, helping me see the full picture: how biology, culture, language, and meaning all shape the human experience.
That was the journey that led me to Philosophical Coaching. And I bring together my background in literature, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, philosophy, neuroscience, and evolutionary psychology to help people explore not just what they feel, but who they are, what they’re living for, and how to make sense of their suffering and desire.
In my work with my clients, I draw on the ideas of philosophers like Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius as well as Kant, Hegel, Heidegger, Foucault, among others. I work with traditions such as existentialism, stoicism, ethics, and logic to help clients reflect more deeply, see their lives from new perspectives, question limiting beliefs, and live with greater clarity and purpose.
