About

Know thyself” Socrates

I am a Philosophical Coach helping clients to explore life’s big questions, gain clarity on personal values, and make thoughtful decisions. I use philosophical concepts to tackle challenges related to limiting beliefs, relationships, and personal growth.

My framework is shaped by a wide range of philosophical voices – from the insights of ancient philosophers like Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle to the challenging questions posed by Kant, Hegel, Heidegger, and Foucault. Whether it’s the grounded wisdom of stoicism, existentialism, or the structure of ethical and logical reasoning, I use these ideas to help clients rethink their lives, uncover blind spots, and move forward with greater awareness and direction.

My Approach

I offer a space of deep and attentive listening, without judgment or criticism. The focus is on understanding your inner world, your doubts, and the meaning you give to your experiences.
During the sessions, you will do most of the talking. This allows your thoughts to unfold naturally helping you gain clarity about what you are living, questioning, or struggling with.

How This Works in Practice

  • You speak freely, at your own pace, about anything you’re finding difficult to deal with.
  • You may talk about present struggles, past experiences, or concerns about the future.
  • Your speech may feel unclear, repetitive, contradictory, or unfinished — this is part of the process and carries meaning.

Why This Way of Listening Is Important

  • When someone feels truly heard, the mind begins to settle.
  • Speaking without constant interruptions helps thoughts organise themselves naturally.
  • Confusion often softens when ideas are expressed out loud and met with attentive presence.

My Role Throughout the Process

  • Help you recognise, understand, and give words to thoughts or inner conflicts that were previously unclear.
  • Highlight connections between your experiences, beliefs, values, and emotional reactions.
  • Support you in noticing repeating inner patterns that may quietly shape your choices.
  • Help you see how similar situations, people, or ideas appear in your life and awaken familiar inner responses.
  • Support deeper reflection, clearer thinking, and a stronger sense of purpose by using philosophy to help you question assumptions and see your life from wider perspectives.

The Benefit for You

  • Deeper self-understanding.
  • Greater awareness of your patterns and choices.
  • A clearer sense of meaning and direction.
  • More authentic and grounded personal change.

Why Advice, Instructions, or Ready-Made Answers Are Not Given

  • Advice comes from the outside and may ignore your inner rhythm and truth.
  • Ready-made solutions can silence something important that needs to be understood, not fixed.
  • Real change happens when insight arises from within, not when someone tells you what to do.
  • The goal is not to fit you into a rule or system, but to help you discover what truly makes sense within your own life story.

The soul takes nothing with her to the next world but her education and her culture.” Plato

My Background

It began with a degree in Letters at the University of São Paulo – where I studied literature, language, and linguistics. That early foundation shaped how I listen, think, and understand human experience.

Later, I trained in counselling and psychotherapy, where I first developed a deep interest in the complexity of the human mind. It was through that work that I discovered psychoanalysis and fell in love with its depth and its unique way of listening to human suffering.

Within psychoanalysis, I encountered the work of Jacques Lacan – a turning point in my journey. Through studying Lacan, another door opened: the world of philosophy. It was through him, I saw how philosophy and psychoanalysis could speak to each other in meaningful ways.

That encounter changed my direction. What began as a clinical path became a philosophical one. I started asking not only what someone feels, but what their suffering means, what their life says about them, and what kind of truth they are living.

Wanting to explore this even further, I went on to study neuropsychoanalysis and evolutionary psychology – fields that connect the inner world of subjectivity with the body, the brain, and our evolutionary roots. These disciplines added new layers to my understading, helping me see the full picture: how biology, culture, language, and meaning all shape the human experience.

This journey naturally led me to Philosophical Coaching. And I bring together my background in literature, linguistics, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, philosophy, neuroscience, and evolutionary psychology in my work with clients.

To help clients perceive their experiences with greater clarity and from broader perspectives, I draw on the ideas of philosophers like Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius as well as Kant, Hegel, Heidegger, Foucault, among others. I also work with traditions such as existentialism, stoicism, ethics, and logic, supporting deeper reflection, clearer understanding, and a more meaningful way of living.
